Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a board member of the SSC's Board of Directors from 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. She also served as a member of the SSC as a producer as well as a costume/set design composer/music director and coach for text in addition to serving as Artistic Director. In her role, she is usually the director of her group Her first directorial role was with SSC King Lear.
